One of the ways we protect uniforms is offering the Opti-Dry feature on our dryers. It will shut off the dryer when a specific moisture content is achieved. Instead of letting equipment managers decide at what temperature and how long to dry uniforms the dryer will make those decisions for you. The operator simply needs to read the screen that has the cycle name such as game uniform and hit start. You can rest assured the dryer will shut off prior to excessive heat damage is done.
Ease of use is important when you have part-time employees or even students operating the equipment. Unimac Unilinc washers have easy to read plain English (or even Spanish) cycle names that can be started with one push. The washers can send a signal to chemical pumps to pump the correct amount of chemicals as well.
Let’s face it – turn-around time is an important particularly on game day. With Unimac UW washers with their four fill valves, 400G extract they can get laundry down quickly. The high g extract will remove that water in the washer versus having to heat it up in the dryer. Dry time drop dramatically because less water to remove and you get quick cycle times.
