RJ Kool is excited to announce that they have completed the acquisition of CEP, Controlled Environment Products, in an effort to continue their growth objectives in the chemical and janitorial supply business.
CEP was incorporated in the state of Missouri in 1989 and currently has more than 300 active accounts located throughout the continental United States, Asia and Central America. Focusing on the Clean Room, medical, industrial/safety and maintenance industries, CEP Provides more than 10,000 products to its customers and continues to expand their product line in response to customer needs.
CEP’s access to brand name products such as Kimberly-Clark, Georgia-Pacific, Procter & Gamble and Diversey, along with RJ Kool’s existing product lines, will allow RJ Kool to position itself as a midwest leader in the distribution of chemicals and janitorial supplies.
Darren Harding will move from Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of RJ Kool Company to the role of Chief Executive Officer of CEP. Darren has been in the distribution business for nearly 3 decades and will focus on continuing the success of CEP, while integrating and growing the business. The work has already begun to fully integrate the website allowing for online ordering, budget management, customer account access and inventory control.
